Job Description

As a Senior Nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team alongside physicians, junior nurses, care coordinators, and support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will play a key leadership role in clinical decision-making, mentoring staff, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse looking to advance their career in leadership, clinical excellence, and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced nursing care, assessments, and interventions across a range of patient needs.

  • Lead and support nursing staff by providing mentorship, guidance, and clinical supervision.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.

  • Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and care transitions.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice.

  • Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.

  • Act as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex patient cases.

Skills & Experience

  • You have 5+ years of nursing experience, with demonstrated senior or charge nurse responsibilities.

  • You hold an active RN license (BSN preferred; MSN a plus).

  • You have strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

  • You are experienced in acute care, long-term care, or specialty clinical environments.

  • You are comfortable working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare settings.

  • You have experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation tools.

  • You understand healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and best practices.
